Azevedo-Steffens Coaching Clinic – Sunday, February 4th in North Texas

On Sunday – February 4th, 3 x Olympic Coach Ricardo Azevedo will be giving a FREE Coaching Clinic at the Loos Natatorium in North Texas. Coach Azevedo has coached at the high school, college, national team and Olympic level not only in the US but in several foreign countries. Below is the basic information for the Azevedo-Steffens Coaching Clinic. Additionally, Coach Azevedo along with 5 x Olympian Tony Azevedo and 2 x Olympic Gold Medalist Maggie Steffens will be running athlete clinics on February 3-4, 2018. Coaches will be able to come and go as needed based on their schedule throughout the weekend (8:00 am-3:15 pm both days). All High School/Club/Southwest Zone Coaches are welcome to attend. If you plan to attend the Coaching Clinic on Sunday – February 4th, please complete the Azevedo-Steffens Coaching Clinic – Online Registration (Google Form) by Wednesday, January 31st. No cost for the Coaching Clinic on Sunday, lunch will be provided, and all are welcome!!!

• Date: Sunday, February 4th
• Location: Loos Natatorium, 3815 Spring Valley Rd, Addison, TX 75001
• Registration: Please complete the Azevedo-Steffens Coaching Clinic – Online Registration (Google Form)
• Timeline:
o 8:15 – 8:30 am: Ricardo Acevedo will give an intro to the day.
o 8:30 – 11:30 am: Coaches can watch and learn on deck with Tony, Maggie, and Ricardo while they work with the athletes.
o 11:30 am – 1:00 pm: Working lunch with Ricardo to discuss coaching/training and take Q&A.
o LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED
o 1:00-3:15 pm: Coaches can watch/observe the clinic on deck.
• Athlete Clinics: The Azevedo-Steffens Athlete Clinics will be both Saturday & Sunday, all coaches are welcome to be on deck, observe the clinic, with Tony, Maggie, and Ricardo while they work with the athletes (both days 8:00 – 3:15 pm). Saturday, February 3rd will be athletes 13U. Sunday, February 4th will be high school aged athletes.
