SWZ Update: Congrats on NJO’s and Upcoming Events

Congrats to all the teams who played at the USAWP National Junior Olympics in North Texas.  NJO’s ended with great games and fantastic finishes throughout the various age groups and divisions.  Overall, there were 59 teams from the SWZ in the various age groups/divisions.  A big THANK YOU to all the Local Hosts of NJO’s for your hard work as you went above and beyond expectations which turned into a terrific experience for all the athletes, coaches, teams, and parents from across the country.  Of course, there were challenges over the past four days, but everyone adjusted/adapted throughout the event to make the tournament a seamless experience for all involved.  Let me know if you have any comments, suggestions, etc. on NJO’s as we hope to continue to bring big events to Texas moving forward.  I hope everyone gets to step away from the pool deck for a few days and get some rest!!!

Below is a list of the upcoming events in the SWZ over the next few weeks (through Labor Day Weekend).  The TAAF Games of Texas has been cancelled and the Zilla Beach Water Polo event will be rescheduled.  The next being events will be Masters Nationals and the Welcome to Texas Shootout.  More specific info on the Welcome to Texas Shootout will be coming out later this week.  All changes have been updated on the Southwest Zone Calendar.  Please contact the local hosts directly for more info on each individual event (SWZ Club Contact List).
