(SCHEDULE UPDATE) Welcome to Texas Shootout on September 4-5, 2021 in San Antonio, TX

Below is all the tournament info for the upcoming Welcome to Texas Shootout on September 4-5, 2021 in San Antonio, TX at the Northside ISD Swim Center.  There are 48 teams playing in six divisions across four courses during the two day tournament:  Welcome to Texas – Schedule/Results – 2021.  Spectator tickets are only available online, NISD Swim Center Website. On Saturday morning, coaches will receive their Team Packets which will include deck passes, Score Sheets, etc.  Teams will use the Score Sheets for their ID Checks prior to each game and then turn in a Score Sheet to the table before the start of each game.  Please be sure to let your athletes, coaches, and parents know the Mask Policy and give them the Admissions Link (see notes below, notes are also on the schedule link).
Team Rosters:  Club Admins/Coaches will not have access to their Team Rosters prior to the event.  If you would like to make any changes to your Team Rosters, please email events@usawaterpolo.org by Wednesday, September 1st at 11:00 pm (roster limit of 15 athletes per team).  For athletes who need to accept their COVID Waivers and/or complete Safe Sport (no age verification needed for this event), they will have access to their accounts on Wednesday, and these steps will need to be completed by Wednesday, September 1st at 11:00 pm.  For athletes new to USAWP, please have them register for USAWP on Wednesday, September 1st and send any names to be added to rosters to events@usawaterpolo.org by Wednesday, September 1st at 11:00 pm.

  • Mask Policy: Masks are required by spectators, coaches, athletes, and officials when indoors at the NISD Swim Center. The only exceptions are athletes during games and officials while actively officiating. Masks are NOT required outdoors at the NISD Swim Center.
  • Admissions: $15 Day Pass, $25 Weekend Pass. Tickets are available online only at the NISD Swim Center Website. Children 5 & Younger will not be charged admission, but you still need to get a pass for them through the website.
  • Format: All games will be 6:00 minute quarters using USA Water Polo rules. There will be two minutes between periods, two timeouts per game, and games tied after four quarters will do a shoot-out. Team listed first, wears white caps/starts to the left of the table.
  • Tournament & USAWP Apparel Sales Table:  There will be tournament specific apparel and USA Water Polo Apparel on sale inside the entrance of the NISD Swim Center.
  • Friday Night Team Training:  If you would like to have training/scrimmages on Friday, September 3rd anytime between 3:00-7:00 pm, please email joelinehan@usawaterpolo.org.
